On the Circular Firing Squad in Alabama
My take on the latest sad Republican debate
I wrote about last night’s debate for The Daily Beast. They have what’s called a “metered paywall,” which means every visitor has a few freebies per month. If you hit that paywall because you’ve been to the Beast too many times this month, just open a new “private” (Safari) or “incognito” (Chrome) browser window and you’ll get right in. I’ll be back tomorrow with a proper post.
Apologies to anyone still hitting a paywall even with my instructions. Maybe I shouldn't have bothered posting the link here, since I've had plenty of frustrating experiences with paywalls, even when I've been given a supposed work-around. You can always try deleting cookies from your browser, but that's probably too much work for most people. If the link doesn't work for you, sorry. Here's my summary of the debate: It was a waste of everyone's time. See you again tomorrow.
It wasn’t possible to access the article, even with a private browser window. The paywall remained intact.
