Thanks for the break from politics; it's much appreciated. I must confess, though, that I've never heard of the first six artists on your list and am only familiar with Chappell Roan because her name has been everywhere this year. I mostly tend to listen to the music of my high school and college years but occasionally pick up a new (to me) artist along the way. In 2019, it was the Avett Brothers because friends invited us to their New Years Eve concert. A couple of years ago, it was Batya Levine and The Klezmatics, both suggested by someone at my synagogue. And this past year, it was Robert Plant & Alison Krause, who were a Spotify suggestion. I played "Killing the Blues" over and over again and it's #2 on my Spotify list, after John Hiatt's "Crossing Muddy Waters."
Music is my comfort food, so I do tend to rely on old favorites. Maybe it's time to find some new ones.
Once again my midlife anhedonia kicks in, just like it did last year when these lists popped up. It all sounds like different flavors of sonic cream cheese. No bagels left. As Van Morrison sang thirty years ago, “take me back, take me back, take me back…”
Here's a Spotify Playlist of the ten songs:

Thank you for this. i'm not an apple guy.
Thank you for this, hopefully someone will put it on Spotify like last year
I just made a Spotify Playlist and put it in a pinned comment (above).
